Repair Details

When your helm or cylinder is received, it is bench tested for functionality. If it is determined your helm or cylinder needs repairs, it is completely disassembled.

• Worn and damaged parts are identified.

• Cost of parts and labor time is determined.

• You are then called with a repair estimate & costs of possible replacement units.

If you decide to have your helm or cylinder repaired

• Worn and damaged parts are replaced.

• Your unit is cleaned, resealed and reassembled.

• Your unit is bench tested to assure conformance with factory specifications.

Should you decide not to have your item repaired

• You will be given the option to purchase a “like-new” helm or cylinder replacement if  available.

• Should you decline both repair and replacement, your original unrepaired helm or cylinder will be returned for a $45.00 inspection fee, plus shipping charges.
